Composition:

• Each 1000 ml contains

• Ivermectin IP

  0.08% w/v

How Lavimectin works?

• Lavimectin Liquid binds with high affinity to glutamate-gated chloride channels which occur in invertebrate nerve and muscle cells, causing an increase in the permeability of the cell membrane to chloride ions with hyperpolarization of the nerve or muscle cell.
• This results in paralysis and death of the parasite either directly or by causing the worms to starve.
• The target of the active ingredients is largely aimed at the microfilaria stage of various parasites.

DOSAGE:

• 0.4 ml/kg body weight or 1 ml/2 kg body weight for 5-7 days.
• To be administered through drinking water.
• Suitable time for medication is 1 hour before onset of darkness. Or as suggested by Consultants/ Veterinarians
